CSU system is what makes Chancellor Tim White so proud of and he is retiring with pride in January. There are around 20% of enrollment decrease in higher education due to pandemic but Chancellor White boasts about how CSU system has very little to no impact on their enrollments. The robust system of CSU 23 campuses are pretty much ready to continue delivering their courses and instruction online during this COVID 19 pandemic.
Readers would be amazed to know that CSU has a goal of increasing the graduation rate by 2024-25. As per his agenda and leadership CSU 23, shall continue to serve millions of students and staff during the pandemic. Chancellor Tim White has displayed some pose and great leadership with his vision and decisions that impact millions of students and staff and faculty across CSU 23 campuses.

Chancellor White has foreseen the challenges of keeping the faculty and students equally motivated and encouraged to continue the journey of teaching an learning online. Chancellor Tim White, as a visionary Chancellor that he is, predicts that the next fiscal year from mid June 2020-21 would pose challenges and crisis that may be worse than the current higher education scenario. He also has to face challenges about going virtual and many were not happy with this decision but he has his rationale lined up and can diplomatically explain you why he is keeping the instruction virtual. It is hard to keep everyone happy but he chose what is best for students and faculty.
Chancellor White also has some concerns about California Community Colleges suffering with low enrollments but that does mean that the students may return to campus for associate degrees in coming years to get the missing credit gaps filled.
