It is a general practice to use teacher in the ways possible right from
bringing the kids in, get help for lunch, clubs, and all the chaos that happens in the schools. Additionally, pandemic made the conditions worse with face to face and virtual instruction. There are 29 % teachers already plan to quit in 2020- according to the union survey recently posted by Education Department in Minnesota. The fall has not much in store for teachers who have been teaching for decades. Many have turned to a new profession that pays well than teaching profession.

Large number of teachers across the  US have considered resigning keeping their health a priority. Several teachers have had an option to retire or head out for other jobs. How about the rest of the teacher who return back to teach? The teachers are stretching between the frustration of virtual and face to face learning. The duty is double and so is the frustration, stress and anxiety. The pandemic has completely redesigned our education system. Home schooling is very commonly adopted amongst the parents in the neighborhood of school districts. It won’t be a shock if some of these schools close down permanently because their number of enrollment is gone down and there is no more funding flowing in from up there.

82% parents opt for hybrid education during COVID 19 and prefer that
students get a few days to work from home and a couple days face to face
instruction- this is based on several surveys in thousands of schools in
different school districts in the US.

So what is the advantage of hybrid model and what is the research saying,
where are the surveys and what message is it delivering?
