Several schools around the US have higher number of cases of novel Corona virus and were forced to shut down in 2019. Re-opening amid such a crisis is a very difficult situation for the superintendents. The school administrators and superintendents are tested in ways that the history has never witnessed in the past. Many of them and lost jobs and moved to a new location to continue with their career.

Teachers are quitting and substitutes and tenure teachers and faculty is a major issue in the US education system till date. How does mask and sanitizer even help if the core of the essential education to be carried out successfully is missing? Many school district have adopted hybrid learning or total remote learning. Zoom and online learning management systems have been procing to be the best strategy for most the learners and educators throughout the US and even globally people prefer health safety over classroom experience in person.

Simply examining the social distance and installing sanitizer as a solution is working poorly for most of the schools. The number of COVID cases and deaths is still prevailing and re-opening in fall is going to bring a shut down again as the cases rise in number and health safety become the core issue of public safety. Except the red states most the other states prefer to not to reopen their schools and keep the remote learning options open. The upcoming elections and the results will entirely change the scenario of public education is the US and remote as well as hybrid learning shall be echoing the country.

As of November 8, 2020 several elementary schools have closed down like, Dallas Independent School District and several other counties have closed down. The sporadic shut-down and reopen nd shut down again in a crisis within a crisis, has caught-up the superintendents admin and parents in a mosaic situation. In the whole struggle we never even think about how students are suffering emotionally, socially and and mentally.
